Scott Pellet's Rainbow Photos
Willingboro Astronomical Society  Posted 2.20.2007

These pictures were taken outside of my hotel in Vidalia GA during a recent trip for work. This was the brightest rainbow that I had ever seen, partly because the time was so near to sunset. There was no tertiary rainbow; however, the secondary arc was quite visible and so is the reflection of the primary in the water of the parking lot.  It was very curious that the violet color of the primary was more notable at the top of the arc and hardly noticeable near the bases.  The full arc of both rainbows was clearly visible.
