Welcome to the Official Home Page of the Willingboro Astronomical Society. Our club is in its 48th year of serving both the public and the amateur astronomers of the Delaware Valley. We have a long history of public education, star parties, interesting meetings, in-depth training and experienced leadership. We are a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization.

Apr 17 Informal Meeting, 7:30 pm in Resurrection Catholic School at Christ Our Light Church on Kings Highway (Rt 41) in Cherry Hill, NJ. Click here for directions. As is the case with all our meetings, guests are welcome and no prior astronomical experience is necessary.
Apr 18 New Moon at 2:57 pm EDT.
Apr 18 NEAF, the Northeast Astronomy Forum, will be held at Rockland Community College in Suffern, NJ, on April 18 & 19th. It will be preceded by NEAIC, the Northeast Astro-Imaging Conference, on April 16 & 17th.
Apr 25 Public Star Watch at Batsto, the first one of the 2015 season! We'll be starting at 7:30 pm, but check back on the day of the event for the go/no-go weather call.
May 1 Formal Meeting, 7:30 pm in Resurrection Catholic School on Kings Highway (Rt 41) in Cherry Hill, NJ. This will be our Show & Tell Night.
May 3 Full Moon at 11:42 pm EDT.

On April 11, 2015, club member Jerry Lodriguss captured the constellations Orion and Taurus, along with the bright planet Venus near the Pleiades star cluster, as well as himself and his imaging gear in the foreground, under the relatively dark skies of the New Jersey Pinelands.
