Club member Jerry Lodriguss captured the International Space Station (ISS) as it entered the earth's shadow around 6:28 pm EST on December 4, 2015. It was sunset on the ISS, causing the dimming and reddening as it moved from the bottom-right to the upper left against the background stars in this image, taken from Steelmantown in Belleplain State Forest, NJ. Jerry used a stock Canon T5i (700D) digital SLR camera on a fixed tripod, and a Rokinon 16 mm f/2 lens. It was exposed 60 seconds at f/2, ISO 800. Click here for more.
