In Memoriam   January, 2019

Life Member, Francis Anthony "Tony" Moscicki, a long-time member of the West Jersey Astronomical Society, recently passed (December 2018). Many club members remember him from time shared with him at star gatherings including Stellafane in Vermont and the Winter star party in Florida. Tony gave valuable service to the club operating behind the scenes. After the club lost its meeting place in Willingboro he used his local contacts to find a series of meeting places for us, including our present well-equipped location at the Virtua Health and Wellness Center in Moorestown as well as our previous meeting place for many years at the Christ our Light parish's Resurrection School in Cherry Hill. Everyone in the club remembers him as a fine gentleman, who often contributed accounts of observatories and astronomy centers that he had visited. He will be greatly missed.

Roger Cowley, 2018 President, West Jersey Astronomical Society.
